Hi…I’m Mairi…
Art for Wee Spaces evolved a few years ago when I found myself living in a small flat with limited space to paint. I discovered that creating small and tiny paintings can be just as satisfying and challenging, and in many ways more so. I also discovered that it enabled me to make original art available and affordable, especially to those who still value original paintings produced by human hands; also for those who really just like wee original creations.
All my paintings are semi abstract, watercolour and ink paintings, created intuitively. I’m especially obsessed with the beauty of trees from all seasons. Everything is original work..NOT PRINTS.
I’ve dabbled in online shops over the years, but now I prefer the intimacy and connection of making my wee paintings available at a few local markets and events instead. Please feel free to contact me though, should you be very interested in a particular painting.
